Premium, toxin-free materials
Soft leathers, breathable textiles and water-based finishes — chosen to meet strict EU and UK safety standards, so what touches little feet is as safe as it is beautiful.
Our story
For over 70 years, we've stopped to put ourselves in the place of children — and asked what would truly be best for them. Not only in the shoes they wear, but in the world they're growing up in. That's the question that's shaped Bibi from the very first pair, and it's why families in more than 30 countries — now including the United Kingdom — trust us with their little ones' first steps.

Our purpose
For over seven decades, we've put ourselves in the place of children and asked what would truly be best for them — not just in footwear, but in the world they're growing up in. That's why every Bibi shoe is physiological by design, made with non-toxic and sustainable materials, and shaped to follow the natural movement of growing feet.
But we don't stop at the shoe. We prioritise a sustainable production chain and fair, transparent commercial relationships at every step. Because caring about good shoes for little feet matters just as much as caring about the ground those little feet will walk on.

Recognised around the world
From Lisbon to London, São Paulo to Sydney, Bibi shoes walk alongside more than a million children every year. Parents around the world trust us for the same reasons: rigorous safety standards, decades of paediatric research, and a craft tradition that doesn't cut corners.
We're proud to bring that same standard to the UK — fully compliant with British and European safety regulations, designed for the British climate, and delivered free across orders over £50.
Excellence in every pair
Bibi shoes are not mass-produced. They're crafted — slowly, thoughtfully, and with the kind of obsessive attention that only 70+ years of know-how can deliver.

Soft leathers, breathable textiles and water-based finishes — chosen to meet strict EU and UK safety standards, so what touches little feet is as safe as it is beautiful.

Every Bibi last is shaped with paediatricians, orthopaedists and physiotherapists, then tested at the PUCRS gait laboratory — one of Brazil's leading research centres for human movement.

Hand-finished in family-owned factories, with reinforced stitching, durable rubber outsoles and quality checks on every pair — so first-walker shoes survive everything a curious toddler can throw at them.
Bibi Technologies
Decades of research, distilled into the technologies that make Bibi shoes feel like nothing — and protect like everything.

Non-toxic Protection
Bibi works hand-in-hand with the Brazilian Leather, Footwear & Components Technology Institute (IBTeC) to monitor every material in every shoe. Only components that meet strict international standards for toxic substances make it into a Bibi pair — so curious little hands (and mouths) are always safe.
Exclusive Bibi technology

Bibi was the pioneer in scientific research on children's footwear in Brazil — and the Fisioflex insole is the result. Ultra-soft and anatomically shaped, it recreates the natural sensation of walking barefoot while supporting the way little feet actually grow.

Drop Bibi — Water-repellent
The exclusive Drop Bibi Hidro treatment — developed in partnership with technical specialists — repels rain and puddle splashes while still letting sweat escape. The science: sweat molecules are smaller than water molecules, so the treatment keeps water out and lets perspiration through. Dry feet, happy kids, no damp socks.

As natural as walking barefoot
Bibi was the first Brazilian brand to bring together paediatricians, orthopaedists, physiotherapists and footwear designers to study how children's feet grow from 0 to 9 years old. That work evolved the anatomical shoe into the physiological shoe — built to support natural foot development at every age.
Backed by science
Long before "child-friendly footwear" became a category, Bibi brought together paediatricians, orthopaedists, physiotherapists and footwear designers to study how children's feet actually grow, move and develop. That research — tested and refined at the gait laboratory of PUCRS, one of Brazil's leading universities — became the foundation of every Bibi shoe sold today.

Crafted in Brazil, made for the UK
Every pair is still made in family-owned factories in Rio Grande do Sul, southern Brazil — a region with a centuries-old leather and footwear tradition. The same families have been making Bibi shoes for generations, passing their craft from parent to child the same way our shoes are passed from older sibling to younger.
Today, that craft reaches British doorsteps — available across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland with free UK shipping over £50.
