Bibi UK · Size guide
Choosing the right size
An often overlooked aspect of a child's physical health is the importance of proper footwear. The right fit supports posture, gait and overall foot health from the very first steps.
Children's feet grow fast, so frequent reassessments are essential. Follow the steps below to measure your child's feet and pick the perfect Bibi.

Every brand is different
A common mistake is assuming shoe sizes are uniform across all brands. Our investigation into 7 popular UK brands — including Bibi — reveals significant variation of insole measurements for the same nominal size. For UK size 11, the foot measure ranged from 17.4 cm to 18.4 cm. A staggering 1 cm (or 5.5%) variation.
Of course, length isn't everything — width, instep and shape all matter. Thanks to our simple, free UK returns, you can trust your instincts and exchange if the fit isn't perfect. The following guide will help you measure your child's feet and choose the best fit, specifically for Bibi shoes.
Step 1
Position and mark your child's feet
You'll need a piece of A4 paper, a pen or pencil, and a ruler or measuring tape. Place the paper on a flat hard floor. Have your child stand on the paper with their heel either lightly touching a wall, or in the middle of the paper along a straight line drawn with the ruler.
Make sure their weight is evenly distributed on both feet — one foot on the paper, one beside. With the pen, mark where the longest toe ends. Repeat for the other foot.

Step 2
Measure and calculate length
Remove your child's foot and measure from the edge of the paper (or the heel line) to the toe marks you drew. If the two feet are different, always measure the longest one.
Toes need room to spread and wriggle, and young feet grow fast. As a rule of thumb, add between 1.0 cm and 1.4 cm to your measurement before looking up the size on our table below.
Step 3
Select the best size
Match the measurement (including the additional 1 cm) to the correct size. For example, if your child's longest foot measures 16.4 cm, adding 1 cm gives 17.4 cm — looking at the table below, UK 11 (17.54 cm) will offer the best fit.
